I’m numb from putting my all into relationships only to have my efforts wasted. I’m so afraid to open up that I disallow myself to feel anything yet I’m dying to feel again.
Nothing will change the way I feel right now. This feeling like I’ve accomplished something huge and there’s this tightness tugging at my heart because I know I will walk the stage tonight and I will finally be able to let it all go. All the heartache, all the loss, but yet all the fun and good times. I won’t ever forget. But now it’s time to look ahead at what’s in front of me and face it not...
